Gift Nook is an online shop for personalized gifts: custom suncatchers, keepsake ornaments, name tumblers, shirts and keepsakes for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas and the many smaller days in between. We are based at 5201 Georgia Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, US, every order ships from the USA, and we deliver free to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This page explains what we sell, how a Gift Nook gift comes together, and what you can count on when you order from us.

Why “Gift Nook”

A nook is a small, sheltered corner, the kind of place where you keep something worth keeping. That is the feeling we want the shop to have: not a giant warehouse of everything, but a tidy corner where the right gift for one particular person is easy to find. Our logo draws the idea literally, a wrapped gift box sitting inside a little arched nook.

The idea also shapes how the shop is organized. Instead of making you scroll through hundreds of near-identical products, we sort gifts the way people actually shop for them: by who it is for and what the occasion is. The gift finder on our home page puts those two questions side by side. Pick “Grandparents” and “Christmas”, and you are taken to the right shelf.

What we make

Every product in the shop is designed to carry a personal detail: a name, a date, initials, a short line of text and, for some designs, a photo. Our range is built around five gift types.

Custom suncatchers

Printed window hangings that come alive when light passes through them. They are our favorite gift for mothers, grandparents and memorials: a birth flower and a name for each grandchild, a couple’s initials and their year, or a quiet line for someone who is missed.

Personalized ornaments

Keepsake ornaments for babies’ first Christmases, new couples, first homes, pets and whole families. Many customers add one every year, and over time the tree turns into a family timeline.

Name tumblers

The everyday gift. A tumbler with a name, a title such as Mama or Papa, or a short private joke gets used every morning, in the car, on the sideline and at the desk.

Custom shirts

Tees for milestone birthdays, family reunions, bachelorette weekends, new grandparents and matching holiday photos. Each listing shows its styles, colors and sizes, and our Size Guide helps you choose for someone else.

Keepsakes

Plaques and desk or shelf pieces with names and dates: wedding dates, birth details, graduations and memorials. They suit people who already have every mug they need.

How a Gift Nook gift comes together

We deliberately kept the process simple, with no design apps to learn and no files to upload during checkout.

1. You choose the gift and its options (size, color, style or shape) on the product page.
2. You write the personalization in the order notes box at checkout: names, dates and wording exactly as they should appear. If the design uses a photo, you write “Photo to follow by email” and send the photo when we reply.
3. We prepare your order in 1-3 business days, printing exactly what you typed. We do not send a proof or mockup first, which keeps things quick; that is why your confirmation email repeats your notes and why you have 24 hours to request changes.
4. Your gift ships free from the USA and spends 7-14 business days in transit to the United States, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.

Because nothing is printed until you order, there is no shelf of pre-made stock waiting to be sold. Each item is made for the person you named.

Why we accept returns on personalized gifts

Most personalized gift shops say “no returns on custom items”. We understand why, but it leaves the buyer with all the risk. If the shirt is too small for your dad, or your friend opens two name tumblers at her party, you should not be stuck. So every Gift Nook item, personalized or not, can come back within 60 days of delivery for any reason, and we send you a free return label. It is the single biggest promise we make, and it is the reason we ask you to double-check your order notes before you pay.

How we write about our products

You will not find countdown timers, “only 3 left” banners or invented review counts on Gift Nook. Our product pages state the materials, sizes and options, the personalization method and the real delivery and return numbers. Sample photos use made-up names such as “Maya” or “The Lees, est. 2014” so you can see how personalization looks on the item. If something on a product page is unclear, ask us before you buy and we will answer plainly.

Shopping for someone far away

A lot of our gifts travel to people the buyer cannot visit in person: a grandmother in Ontario, a sister in Auckland, a best friend who moved to Perth. Because shipping is free to all four countries we serve, you can send the gift straight to them. Enter their address as the shipping address, write a gift message in the order notes if you like, and plan around 1-3 business days of preparation plus 7-14 business days in transit.

Choosing well: a few gift-giving tips from the nook

Match the gift to their routine

The gifts people keep using are the ones that fit something they already do every day. A coffee drinker reaches for a name tumbler every morning; someone with a sunny kitchen window enjoys a suncatcher every afternoon; a person who decorates for the holidays will hang an ornament every December for years. Think about where the gift will live in their week before you think about the wording.

Keep the wording short

Short wording reads better on small items and from across a room. A first name, a title such as Nana or Pops, and one date usually say more than a long sentence. If you want a longer message, put it in a card or in the gift message line of your order notes, and keep the printed text simple.

Use the names they use

Grandparents rarely call themselves “Grandmother”. Write the name the family actually uses, Gigi, Mimi, Pop-Pop, Grandpa Joe, and copy the spelling from something the person wrote themselves. That small detail is often what makes people tear up when they open the box.

Give yourself time

Personalized gifts are made after you order, so add the 1-3 business days of preparation to the 7-14 business days in transit and count back from the date. For Christmas, ordering in early November gives the most room. For a birthday next week, a lovely option is to tell the person their gift is on its way and let it be a happy surprise later.

Think about the whole family

Some of the most-loved gifts are sets: an ornament for each grandchild, matching tees for a reunion, his-and-hers tumblers. One order can hold several personalized items going to the same address; list each item’s details on its own line in the order notes so nothing is mixed up.

Where we are headed

We will keep adding designs to each shelf, guided by the questions customers send us: new occasions, new recipients and new ways to fit a long family onto one small gift. Caring for your gift

A little care keeps personalized pieces looking good for years. Wipe suncatchers and ornaments with a soft, dry cloth rather than spraying cleaner directly on the print. Hand-wash tumblers unless the product page says otherwise, and avoid scouring pads on the printed side. Turn printed shirts inside out and wash them on a cool, gentle cycle, then skip the iron over the design. Keepsakes and plaques prefer a dry spot away from direct heat. Each product page lists any care notes specific to that item.
